RIDE the BLUE RIDGE with the Knobbies
September 24-26, 2010 Morganton, NC
RIDE the BLUE RIDGE with the Knobbies is the first annual rally sponsored by
the Knob Mountain NC Motorcycle Chapter (Knobbies) and the City Of Morganton,
North Carolina. Rally site is the new Catawba Meadows Park in Morganton.
Easy access to Interstate 40, and the best riding in the southeastern
United States, including the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Snake, the Dragon, and
many more roads that have not yet been “named”. Primitive tent camping is
available on the rally site. RV sites (without hookups) are available also. There
are local campgrounds nearby with full hook-ups for those that require electricity.
Morganton has plenty of motel/hotel space as well. There will be door
prizes, rally awards, and a 50/50 drawing, as well as a free rally t-shirt for the
first 350 registered. A meal voucher will be provided for Saturday night. Maps
will be provided that highlight Dual Sport Rides, GPS Tours, and a Cruiser Ride.
Club members can provide details about most of the roads in western North
Carolina as well.

Pre-Registration is $35 before August 31, 2010. $40 at rally.

RALLY INFORMATION
Fees (per person):
$35.00 pre-registered $40.00 at check-in gate
Children 12 and under: $20 pre-registered $25.00 at check-in gate
A day-pass can be issued for a fee of $10.00 (NO t-shirt or meal voucher)

PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSES ON AUGUST 31st
Envelopes must be postmarked by August 31, 2010. After that date, registration
will only be taken at the Registration Check-in at Catawba Meadows Park,
Morganton, NC. Cash and Traveler’s Checks are accepted at Check-in gate. NO
CREDIT CARDS
Registration is required for admittance into the rally and to receive a bike sticker
and tent tag for camping permission.

ACTIVITIES
We will be providing riders with self-guided routes to enjoy during your stay.
We will have a GS ride, a GPS route-ride, and a ride designed for “taking-it-easy”
cruising.
There will be vendors and food on site. Included in your registration packet will
be a food voucher for Saturday night.
On Saturday there will be live entertainment available in the pavilion, as well as
the presentation of awards, door-prizes, and a 50/50 drawing.
